I haven‘t finished reading, but so far my favorite parts of your manuscript are the remarks on your own attempts at suspended animation. It‘s hard to imagine you fasting like those monks, living off tree bark and Twinkies for a thousand days, etc.

Surely the note about soaking your cereals in urushi was an exaggeration?

Then your chapter on the history of the Kraut-Braut: what barbarian times! Those poor girls! To be pickled like a vegetable just because you‘re unmarried at age eleven? It sickens me to think about it: they spent more than a century in wooden barrels! Finally they revive as foretold – with salty skin but otherwise unaged – only to end up at the stake as witches? Oh, the injustice!
